Corporate Website: What It Is, Examples, Structure

A corporate website: how many pages it needs, which sections it is built from, six examples from our client work, Lite Standard Premium prices and timelines.

Corporate Website: What It Is, Examples, Structure
Pavlo Basha

Short answer: a corporate website is the site of a company, not of one service. It runs 5–10 pages: services with prices, work samples, about, team, reviews, careers, contacts, sometimes a blog and a client area. You need it when the customer compares several companies and wants to decide whom to give the job to, not merely find a phone number. A business card is not enough for that; an online store is a different problem. Corporate Lite — from $1,325 (₴55,000), Standard — from $2,145 (₴89,000), Premium — from $3,494 (₴145,000), from 3–4 weeks.

What matters in 30 seconds

  • A corporate site answers “why should I trust you”, not only “where are you”.

  • 5–10 pages is normal. More only if you can fill them: services, projects, vacancies, materials.

  • The core block is work samples: what was done, in what time, with what scope. Without it the site reads as a brochure.

  • Service prices can be shown as “from” with what the figure includes. That is not “price on request”.

  • The admin panel is part of a corporate site: if a developer edits prices, the content is stale within a month.

  • Integrations (CRM, payments, a calculator, a client area) are what separates Standard and Premium from Lite.

  • Warranty 30 days, 60 on the corporate Standard and 90 on the Premium; payment staged 30/40/30.

What a corporate website is, and when you have outgrown a card

A corporate site has to persuade someone to work with the company as a whole: its services, its people, its terms. The person choosing a renovation contractor, a cleaning supplier or a real-estate agency compares several sites in one evening. Their questions are different: have you done something like this, who is accountable, and what happens after payment.

Four signals that a card is no longer enough:

  1. More than three services, each with a scope. On one page a list gets skimmed; a page per service holds attention.
  2. Customers ask for examples. If you send work photos in a messenger every week, those photos belong on the site.
  3. Several people join the decision. Owner, accountant, technician — each arrives with their own question: price, documents, warranty.
  4. You need leads that carry data. A calculator, a form asking for area and photos, a booking — that is structure, not “write to us”.

The sections a corporate website is made of

The list below is the skeleton we start from on almost every build. We do not add sections we cannot fill: an empty “company history” works against trust.

SectionWhy it is thereIt fails without
Homeexplains who you are and for whom in 15 secondsa first screen with a figure or an action
Servicesthe list of directions plus a page for each“from” prices and a scope of works
Work samplesshows the process, not only the resultdeadlines and what the job included
Aboutname, experience, licences, teamreal names and real photos
Prices and termsremoves “how much” and “how do I pay”payment stages and a warranty
Blog or materialsanswers the questions people searchtwo or three posts a month, otherwise the section is dead
Careerscuts recruiting down to a formtask descriptions instead of “send a CV”
Contactscall, directions, forma tel: link, a map, a named responder

One section gets confused most often: a portfolio is not a gallery of pretty shots. For a construction company it is a project with stages and dates, for a cleaning firm a typical contract, for a school a completed cohort.

How a corporate site differs from a card, a landing page and a store

Getting this wrong costs the client twice. Sell a card where a corporate site is needed and in six months there is nowhere to put the services, so the work starts again. Sell a “corporate site of 18 pages” where a card was needed and half the pages stay empty on a bigger invoice.

Six corporate sites we built, in the clients’ own words

Every example is a real DEXA project. We do not publish our clients’ commercial figures, so what follows is scope and timeline, not “N% growth”.

A cleaning company in Kyiv

Twelve cleaners, orders taken by phone and in Viber, a manager asking about rooms and bathrooms in chat, and some customers disappearing once a number was spoken. We built a Corporate Lite site with a calculator above the fold: cleaning type, rooms, extras — and the price with the duration appears at once. Then a free slot taken from the cleaners’ schedule in the CRM, card payment, a checklist delivered to the cleaner through the Viber bot, a photo report to the client, and a repeat booking in one click two weeks later. Eight pages, 5–6 weeks. Details in the cleaning case.

A construction company in Lviv

Clients picked contractors from social-media photos, the site was a page with a phone number, and leads arrived without an area. We built a site that shows the work: a page per project with stages, dates and before-and-after photos, services with a price per m² guide, a guarantees-and-contract section, and a lead form that asks for area, work type and photos up front. Six pages, 4–6 weeks. Example: the construction company case.

A driving school in Odesa

Nine instructors, prices explained by phone, driving lessons booked by phone, instructors overlapping in the timetable. We built a Corporate Lite site in two languages with a course calculator: category, gearbox and theory format produce the full total, the payment stages and the nearest group date. The lead lands in the CRM and the Telegram bot, and the student gets an area with tests and self-service lesson booking. Eight pages, 6–7 weeks. Details in the driving school case.

A restaurant in Lviv

A 64-seat venue with a terrace and a banquet hall ran without a site: a menu in a PDF, bookings in a notebook, banquet requests lost in DMs. We built a Corporate Lite site: the menu in the admin panel with prices, portions and allergens, table booking by date, time, guests and zone, separate pages for banquets and events, a chef’s dinner schedule, gift certificates with payment, QR codes on the tables. Eight pages, 4–5 weeks. Example: the restaurant case.

A travel agency in Lviv

The job was not “a site with contacts” but a selection tool: tour search by destination, dates and budget, hot deals, a matched shortlist with an enquiry. Eight pages, 5–6 weeks. Details in the travel agency case.

A real-estate agency in Kyiv

A property catalogue with filters, a listing page with photos and a floor plan, viewing requests, and a deal CRM so the agent does not lose the contact between a viewing and a signed contract. Eight pages, 7–9 weeks. Example: the real-estate agency case.

How many pages you actually need

The rule is simple: as many as you can fill today, plus two for growth.

Guidance by business type:

  • B2B services (cleaning, renovation, legal, logistics): home, two or three services, samples, about, contacts. Six or seven pages.
  • Education (driving school, online school, kindergarten): home, courses or groups with prices, schedule, teachers, enrolment, contacts. Eight pages.
  • A venue with a physical address: home, menu, booking, banquets and events, certificates, contacts. Eight pages.
  • A catalogue or property list: home, filtered list, item page, services, about, contacts. From eight, then by catalogue depth.

What not to do: a page per city without a project in that city, a news section with two posts a year, and separate pages for “service A — variant 2” of different price packages.

What a corporate site costs, and what moves the figure

Corporate site · Premium (10–20 pages, 3 languages, CRM)from $3,494 (₴145,000)6–10 weeks
Support · Litefrom $72 (₴3,000)/momonthly

Three things move the price inside one tier:

  • Content. Texts, project photos and the service list from the client’s side are half the timeline. If the material does not exist, someone has to collect it, and that is not layout work.
  • Integrations. CRM, payments, a calculator, a client area, 1C sync — each of these moves the build from Lite into Standard or Premium.
  • Languages. Two or three languages are not a translation of the home page: they are two or three sets of copy, hreflang and separate addresses in the index.

Judge the cost by service life, not by the invoice

A corporate site works for three to five years. Over that period three things will happen anyway: prices change, new services appear, someone asks to “add a page for this direction”.

What to countHow it looksRegistry guide
Startlayout, content, integrations$1,325–3,494 (₴55,000–145,000)
Ongoing supportprice changes, new services, copy editsfrom $72 (₴3,000)/mo a month
Work outside the planone-off tasks the plan does not coverfrom $41 (₴1,700)/hr an hour
Speed and technical fixesslow pages, errors after updatesfrom $241 (₴10,000)

If the site ships without an admin panel, every line “change the price” becomes a ticket to a developer. That is why the panel is part of the corporate tier and not sold separately.

What belongs in the contract, and what happens at handover

Five clauses decide whether the site is still yours in a year:

  1. Scope as a list: pages, blocks, integrations, languages. “Corporate website” as a subject is too broad to enforce.
  2. Estimate and payment schedule: 30/40/30, 50/50 on Lite. The figure does not change retroactively.
  3. Deadline and warranty: 30 days, 60 on the corporate Standard and 90 on the Premium.
  4. Access: the domain in your name, hosting in your name, CMS and admin logins, analytics, integration keys. Handover of access is its own delivery line.
  5. What happens to URLs: if the site replaces an old one, a 301 map preserves rankings. That is part of the work, not a favour.

What to prepare before the start

  • The service list with a “from” price and what each includes.

  • Five to ten work samples: photos, deadline, scope.

  • Company copy: founder name, years of practice, licences, what sets you apart.

  • Contact data: address, hours, phone, messenger, a link to the Google Business Profile.

  • Lead requirements: which fields, who receives them, what response time you promise.

  • The person who will edit content after launch, and time to train them in the admin panel.

When a corporate site is the wrong buy

  • One service and demand comes from ads — a landing page at from $699 (₴29,000) does the job cheaper.

  • Many products, a cart and delivery — that is a store, from $1,446 (₴60,000).

  • Client areas, roles and reporting — that is a web app, from $4,819 (₴200,000).

  • A site exists and is fine but slow — speed work at from $241 (₴10,000) first, new pages later.

  • Nothing to fill it with: an empty corporate site is worse than a complete card.

How we build corporate sites at DEXA

  • Corporate site · Lite (up to 7 pages, custom layout) — from $1,325 (₴55,000) · 3–4 weeks (About this service)

The brief is free and we answer within 2 working hours. The estimate, the deadline and the warranty are fixed in the contract before work starts. Payment is staged: 30/40/30. You update prices, services and samples yourself in the admin panel, and the access and the domain stay yours.

Questions owners ask

How many pages does a corporate site have?

Five to ten. That is a consequence, not a target: as many pages as you can fill. Eight is the typical size for a company with services and work samples.

Can we start with a card and grow into a corporate site?

Yes, and it is an honest path if the card is built on the same base: admin panel, URL structure, components. The question is whether the layout has to be rebuilt. We compare the two routes in the fix-or-rebuild guide.

Do we have to have a blog?

No. A blog makes sense if you can publish two or three pieces a month that answer customer questions. An empty news section hurts search performance slowly but damages impressions immediately.

Who writes the copy for a corporate site?

By default we draft it and you correct the facts and figures. You can supply your own texts, which shortens the timeline. We do not publish claims about ourselves we cannot support, and we never invent your numbers.

Do we need three languages from day one?

Only if clients from those languages are real. Otherwise start with one or two: every language is its own copy set and its own upkeep work.

What happens to the site if we part with the studio?

The domain, hosting, code and admin access should be yours from delivery day. The details are in the guide on support and access handover.

What does corporate-site support cost?

from $72 (₴3,000)/mo a month: price changes, new services, copy edits, speed monitoring. One-off tasks outside the plan run at from $41 (₴1,700)/hr an hour.

Budget your own task before the call in the brief builder, and the studio’s services with prices are laid out on the pricing page. If you need exactly a corporate site — order turnkey corporate website development →.
