Why DEXA

Animated sites that stay fast

Angular, React, Vue, Astro and vanilla JS — we pick the framework for the task, not out of habit. Complex interfaces that stay fast on any device.

Speed and a technical SEO baseline

Static generation keeps speed at the core, and we check Core Web Vitals before handover. Semantics, meta tags and schema.org are baked in from the start — no “fix it later” rework.

Content edits without a developer

Strapi, Payload, Sanity, Directus: content in an admin panel, frontend decoupled. One backend feeds the site, the app and the marketplace at once. No ticket needed.

Guarantees and terms, in writing

30 days of free warranty after launch, clear milestones and full ownership of code and accounts. No vendor lock-in. Timelines and acceptance terms are named there too.

What people say after launch

Quotes taken from working threads — rough edges included.

The price was higher than I had set aside. A freelancer had promised a store for half the money, but before him two of my shop windows simply did not take payments. Half my enquiries were lost in DMs because I did not open them for weeks — I see them all now. Edits go into the Telegram chat, a day or two and it is done.

The price was higher than what I had set aside, and at first I did not want to agree. A freelancer before them had promised a turnkey store for half the money, but before him I had two shop windows where the payment simply did not go through. For the first days it annoyed me that there was nothing to look at: they asked about stock and about where an order is supposed to land, and showed no mockups. Then it turned out half my enquiries were getting lost in DMs because I did not open them for weeks. I see all of them now. Edits go into the Telegram chat, a day or two and it is done.

Two London agencies quoted double and both wanted a January start. These ones started in November. I did not manage to defend the parallax on the case page — and rightly, on a phone it would have been a mess. The site never went down once during the raise. Mail sent at 23:40 gets an answer within the hour, I checked three times.

Two London agencies quoted double and both wanted a January start. These ones started in November. I did not manage to defend the parallax on the case page — they talked me out of it, and rightly, because on a phone it would have been a mess. In fact the site never went down once during the raise and nothing surprising happened at the finish, although we fought with the analytics for one evening. Mail sent at 23:40 gets an answer within the hour, I checked three times.

I needed one page with booking, nothing cosmic. Three weeks, on budget. I cannot say how many bookings there are now — I still keep them in a notebook, the way I always did — but at night the phone finally stays quiet.

Aggregators took 15% even on the nights we brought in ourselves from Instagram. With our own booking I feared it would break mid-season; it has not, though for the first month I checked every request by hand. Guests say they find us on Google. We re-shot the photos twice: the first set came out dark.

Aggregators took 15% commission even on the nights we had brought in ourselves from Instagram, and that annoyed us more than anything else. With our own booking the main fear was that it would break in the middle of the season. It has not, although for the first month I checked every request by hand. Guests say they find us on Google. We re-shot the photos twice, and that one was on us: the first set came out dark, and January has very little daylight. I change the holiday prices myself now, they taught me.

Ірина С. hotel manager, Carpathians
They costed the budget at the start and never changed it — probably the main thing I can say. I ordered the site to put a link to it in client contracts, and I am not ashamed of it. At weekends replies are slow, sometimes until Monday. I allow for that now, but it would have been useful to know in advance — nobody told me.

Forty sellers, payments reconciled in spreadsheets. They launched in 18 weeks: a single cart with split payments. I did not sleep before launch, afraid the money would go to the wrong sellers. The first year brought 8.2 million hryvnias in turnover, though that is not down to the site alone.

Forty sellers, payments reconciled in spreadsheets. For months I could not get a straight answer on what marketplace development costs — everywhere it was an MVP first, six months, then we see. Here they built a single cart with split payments in 18 weeks. I did not sleep before launch because I was afraid the money would go to the wrong sellers. The first year brought 8.2 million hryvnias in turnover, although that is certainly not down to the site alone. And one more thing: they worked out when it would pay off instead of how many hours it takes, and talked us out of a cashback we did not need yet.

Наталія К. co-founder, marketplace
I am in Manchester, so I braced for timezone problems and for explaining everything twice. None of it happened — in Slack they answered faster than my local contractor. The store is in English and runs without hiccups. The one thing I can hold against them: the mailing list only came up in the third week, though I had asked from the start.

I do not understand why it is so expensive. I asked for a site for ten dollars because a mate does them in an evening. Instead: a contract, stages, an audit first. They costed a domain, email, a forty product catalogue and payments — forty five thousand. Why would I need that much, I can build it on a builder for five hundred. I left one star so people do not believe a website costs as much as a phone.

I do not understand why it is so expensive. I asked for a site for ten dollars, because a mate of mine does them in an evening, with animation. I figured they would name a number, I would haggle, done. Instead: a contract, stages, an audit first. They costed a domain, email, a forty product catalogue and payments — forty five thousand. Why would I need that much, I can build it myself on a builder for five hundred. I left one star so that people do not believe a website costs as much as a phone.

Half a year we argued over a CRM or Excel, and paid for three tools that do not talk to each other. We launched, and the first month my managers pretended nothing had changed. The payment screen was rebuilt three times, and there the question is on them — nobody asked how we work. Now from lead to shipment it is all in one window.

Half a year we argued over whether we needed a CRM or Excel, and we paid for three tools that do not talk to each other: deals in a spreadsheet, the owner without margin, the warehouse writing on WhatsApp. We launched, and for the first month my managers pretended nothing had changed, because the old way was more comfortable. The payment screen was rebuilt three times, and there the question is on them — nobody asked us how we work. Now from lead to shipment it is all in one window instead of three. Calls are recorded, and it finally came out which of my people had promised somebody a discount.

Answers before you ask

Prices, timelines, paperwork and ownership — the 13 questions clients ask before they order.

Pick a question
DEXA online · we reply within 2 hours

Hi! I’m from the DEXA team. Pick a question — I’ll answer right away, no “a manager will call you back”.

How much does a website cost?

"Start 500" — from $506 (₴21,000), a one-page site with a custom layout — from $699 (₴29,000), a landing page — from $699 (₴29,000), a corporate site — from $1,325 (₴55,000).

The full list of directions and tiers is on the pricing page.

The exact figure is fixed in the contract after a free brief — it depends on functionality, page count, languages and integrations.

Our prices are published rather than "on request", because a range before the work starts is more reassuring than a budget conversation after it.

What are the timelines?

"Start 500" — 5–7 days, a landing — 2–3 weeks, a corporate site — 3–4 weeks, a store — 5–8 weeks.

The full timelines per direction are on the pricing page.

The stage plan and the delivery date are in the contract, and progress shows in weekly demos rather than only at handover.

If a stage slips because of us, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

What does a one-page site cost, and is it enough for a sole proprietor?

Start 500 from $506 (₴21,000) gets you a page built on our design system in 5–7 days: what you do, proof of it, contacts, a Telegram lead form, a map and a mobile layout.

For a sole proprietor or a service professional this is often the smarter start than a full site — cheaper, faster, and it catches the same search queries.

It grows into a multi-page project later without rebuilding the base.

Do you work with sole proprietors and companies? What paperwork do you provide?

Yes — we work under a contract.

You get an agreement listing the stages and amounts, an invoice and a signed act of works: the pack any accountant expects and any tender or report requires.

If you need specific wording (VAT, currency, dates), we settle it before signing, not after.

Who owns the site and the access after launch?

You do.

The domain and hosting are registered to you, and the code plus admin, analytics and repository access move to you at the final stage — it is a named clause in the contract.

A studio should not hold your project hostage to a subscription: you can take everything you paid for and move to another team.

What is included in the price and what is billed separately?

The package covers design, the mobile layout, development, the technical SEO baseline (structure, meta, speed), a lead form that delivers to Telegram or email, analytics and the copy we write, plus a 30–90-day warranty after launch.

Separate are the things you buy in your own name: domain, hosting, paid services and subscriptions, a photo shoot, ad budget.

Which of these your project needs is listed in the estimate before we start, so "separately" never arrives as a surprise.

Can we pay in instalments?

Yes — we split the payment: 30/40/30, 50/50 on Lite.

Three parts means the start, a demo of the approved design and the final after launch; on Lite there are two: an advance and the finish.

The amount and the schedule are in the contract, so no instalment grows because of an "estimate clarification".

On larger builds we add interim acts, so you pay for what is done rather than for promises.

What if we do not like the result?

We approve the layout before it is built, not after, and revisions are part of every stage.

  • If the design does not fit, we show a second direction and you choose between two.
  • If the disagreement is fundamental, we stop honestly: you pay for the stage actually completed and take everything produced so far.

The post-launch warranty covers defects that were in the specification, not new wishes.

Can you help with copy and photos?

We write the copy in every tier, including "Start 500": you talk through the services, the prices and the examples on a call, we structure the pages around the queries your customers actually type and agree the text with you.

Only a photo shoot is billed separately — and missing photos never delay a launch: we work with illustration, motion graphics and whatever imagery you already have.

Most projects start with what is on hand, and the content is filled in along the way.

Do you do Google ranking work?

The technical half ships with every build: structure, meta tags, schema.org markup, sitemap, speed, responsiveness and correct redirects — the site is ready to rank from day one.

We do not sell monthly "promotion", because that would mean promising positions. Instead:

  • we show what to do after launch — content around real queries, a Google Business profile, reviews;
  • on redesigns we take a ranking baseline, a redirect map and monitor the new version after it goes live.

Is Tilda, WordPress or Horoshop a reasonable alternative?

It can be, and we will say honestly when a builder is the better buy: you need a cheap page for a month or two of testing a hypothesis and you are ready to run it yourself.

Once the site is a sales channel, code delivers what a builder cannot:

  • speed and control over technical SEO;
  • deep CRM, payment and logistics integrations;
  • language versions and credentials that stay yours.

WordPress is reasonable when your team already knows it. We build on Astro and React — and we also migrate sites off Tilda and WordPress without losing rankings.

Will the site bring enquiries instead of just existing?

That is the only way a site pays for itself, so every project starts with the niche and the competitors: who the page is for, which query brings a customer to you and what action they should take.

Then the structure around those queries, speed that keeps the page alive before the first scroll, and a lead that lands in a channel you actually use: Telegram, email or a CRM.

We will not promise "+N% enquiries" — we measure after launch and show what moved the number.

How do you work with clients in other Ukrainian cities?

Online, anywhere in the country: the brief, the discussions and the demos happen on video, so location affects neither price nor speed.

  • Cities we work with: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro and smaller ones.
  • The thread stays in Telegram, so nothing gets lost between calls.
  • Time zones are handled by booking slots ahead of time.
