Barbershop website: book your barber without calls or DMs

The client picks a barber, a service and a free slot, and the booking lands in the schedule and the CRM. The bot sends a reminder before the visit and, three weeks later, offers to book the same barber again.

People come back to their barber, not to the sign over the door, so the site is built around booking a specific person: photos, level, price and today’s free slots. Reminders and a regulars’ club keep repeat visits coming. Service and neighbourhood pages target searches like “barbershop Lviv centre” and “men’s haircut price”.

  • Fixed estimate after a brief
  • Speed measured before handover
  • Reply within 2 hours on working days
  • A slot today He decides on a haircut in the morning and wants it the same evening.
  • His own barber Clients return to a person, so booking goes to a barber, not a time.
  • A reason to return A reminder at the right moment and a discount for regulars.

Where a barbershop loses clients — and what the site does about it

Five steps from search to the next haircut. At each one, some people go to the shop next door.

  1. Looks for a barbershop

“Barbershop near me” or “men’s haircut price Lviv”.

Leaves if:Google shows only an Instagram page with no prices or address.

The site does:service and neighbourhood pages with prices and LocalBusiness markup.

  2. Picks a barber

Looks at the work and the price.

Leaves if:photos without names, a “from” price with no barber level.

The site does:barber profiles with work, level and price.

  3. Books

    Wants a slot tonight.

Leaves if:sent a DM, got a reply the next morning.

The site does:free slots from the schedule and booking in a minute.

  4. Shows up

A few days pass between booking and visit.

Leaves if:forgot the booking, the chair stays empty.

The site does:a Telegram reminder and rescheduling from the message.

  5. Comes back

Three or four weeks later it is time for a haircut again.

Leaves if:nobody reminded him, he went somewhere closer.

The site does:the bot offers the same barber, the club gives a discount.

Barbershop website with online booking by barber on a laptop and a phone
  1. The promise up front Booking without calls is the first thing a client looks for.
  2. One-click booking The booking button sits next to prices, no scrolling.
  3. Booking in the header The booking button stays in the header on every screen.
  4. A free slot today The nearest slot and barber shown right on the photo.
  5. Same on a phone Most people book from a phone, so everything is thumb-sized.

Website, booking and CRM: how they work together

A client finds the barbershop on Google and picks a barber and a time. The booking goes to the schedule and the CRM, the front desk and the barber get it in Telegram, and the client gets a reminder and an offer to come back.

  1. What your customer sees

    • Finds the barbershop in search and on maps
    • Picks a barber and a free slot
    • Gets a reminder and reschedules on their own
  2. What you get

    • All bookings in one schedule
    • Fewer no-shows thanks to reminders
    • Repeat visits without front-desk calls
Before

Bookings from DMs and calls were copied into a paper book.

After

Online booking by barber, Telegram reminders and a client CRM.

Case: Barbershop, Lviv
Forecast

In the first 2–3 months 50–60% of bookings come through the site, no-shows drop by about a third, and 30–40% of clients rebook from a reminder.

A guide, not a promise: the actual figure depends on your niche, traffic and how fast your team replies.

The price was higher than I had set aside. A freelancer had promised a store for half the money, but before him two of my shop windows simply did not take payments. Half my enquiries were lost in DMs because I did not open them for weeks — I see them all now. Edits go into the Telegram chat, a day or two and it is done.

The price was higher than what I had set aside, and at first I did not want to agree. A freelancer before them had promised a turnkey store for half the money, but before him I had two shop windows where the payment simply did not go through. For the first days it annoyed me that there was nothing to look at: they asked about stock and about where an order is supposed to land, and showed no mockups. Then it turned out half my enquiries were getting lost in DMs because I did not open them for weeks. I see all of them now. Edits go into the Telegram chat, a day or two and it is done.

Two London agencies quoted double and both wanted a January start. These ones started in November. I did not manage to defend the parallax on the case page — and rightly, on a phone it would have been a mess. The site never went down once during the raise. Mail sent at 23:40 gets an answer within the hour, I checked three times.

Two London agencies quoted double and both wanted a January start. These ones started in November. I did not manage to defend the parallax on the case page — they talked me out of it, and rightly, because on a phone it would have been a mess. In fact the site never went down once during the raise and nothing surprising happened at the finish, although we fought with the analytics for one evening. Mail sent at 23:40 gets an answer within the hour, I checked three times.

I needed one page with booking, nothing cosmic. Three weeks, on budget. I cannot say how many bookings there are now — I still keep them in a notebook, the way I always did — but at night the phone finally stays quiet.

Aggregators took 15% even on the nights we brought in ourselves from Instagram. Aggregators took 15% commission even on the nights we had brought in ourselves from Instagram, and that annoyed us more than anything else. With our own booking the main fear was that it would break in the middle of the season. It has not, although for the first month I checked every request by hand. Guests say they find us on Google. We re-shot the photos twice, and that one was on us: the first set came out dark, and January has very little daylight. I change the holiday prices myself now, they taught me.

Ірина С. hotel manager, Carpathians
They costed the budget at the start and never changed it — probably the main thing I can say. I ordered the site to put a link to it in client contracts, and I am not ashamed of it. At weekends replies are slow, sometimes until Monday. I allow for that now, but it would have been useful to know in advance — nobody told me.

Forty sellers, payments reconciled in spreadsheets. They launched in 18 weeks: a single cart with split payments. I did not sleep before launch, afraid the money would go to the wrong sellers. The first year brought 8.2 million hryvnias in turnover, though that is not down to the site alone.

Forty sellers, payments reconciled in spreadsheets. For months I could not get a straight answer on what marketplace development costs — everywhere it was an MVP first, six months, then we see. Here they built a single cart with split payments in 18 weeks. I did not sleep before launch because I was afraid the money would go to the wrong sellers. The first year brought 8.2 million hryvnias in turnover, although that is certainly not down to the site alone. And one more thing: they worked out when it would pay off instead of how many hours it takes, and talked us out of a cashback we did not need yet.

Наталія К. co-founder, marketplace
I am in Manchester, so I braced for timezone problems and for explaining everything twice. None of it happened — in Slack they answered faster than my local contractor. The store is in English and runs without hiccups. The one thing I can hold against them: the mailing list only came up in the third week, though I had asked from the start.

I do not understand why it is so expensive. I asked for a site for ten dollars because a mate does them in an evening. Instead: a contract, stages, an audit first. They costed a domain, email, a forty product catalogue and payments — forty five thousand. Why would I need that much, I can build it on a builder for five hundred. I left one star so people do not believe a website costs as much as a phone.

Half a year we argued over a CRM or Excel, and paid for three tools that do not talk to each other. We launched, and the first month my managers pretended nothing had changed. Half a year we argued over whether we needed a CRM or Excel, and we paid for three tools that do not talk to each other: deals in a spreadsheet, the owner without margin, the warehouse writing on WhatsApp. We launched, and for the first month my managers pretended nothing had changed, because the old way was more comfortable. The payment screen was rebuilt three times, and there the question is on them — nobody asked us how we work. Now from lead to shipment it is all in one window instead of three. Calls are recorded, and it finally came out which of my people had promised somebody a discount.

Questions about a barbershop website

Prices, timelines, paperwork and ownership — the 6 questions clients ask before they order.

Pick a question
DEXA online · we reply within 2 hours

Hi! I’m from the DEXA team. Pick a question — I’ll answer right away, no “a manager will call you back”.

How much does a barbershop website cost?

A business-card site with services, barbers and online booking is from $940 (₴39,000).

A chain or a shop with gift cards and its own CRM needs a corporate site; the CRM is from $3,614 (₴150,000).

We fix the amount after the brief; the exact price and timeline go into the contract.

How do I get more clients to my barbershop with a website?

New clients come from search, Google Maps and ads. The site makes them book: they see the price, the barber and a free slot.

For search we build service and neighbourhood pages; for repeat visits, reminders and a club.

What CRM or software does a barbershop need?

One that ties each booking to a barber, a client and a visit history. If you already use a booking app with an API, we connect it to the site.

If not, we build a simple CRM around your schedule with a Telegram bot.

Can I sell gift cards on the website?

Yes. The client picks an amount or a service, pays by card and gets the gift card by email, and the booking made with it lands in the CRM.

How long does a barbershop website take?

A business-card site takes 3–4 weeks, a Lite corporate site 3–4 weeks. Booking and the bot are built alongside the design.

The timeline is fixed in the contract.

We have a site, but everyone books in DMs. What do you do?

First we review the site and the booking path for free.

Often adding booking by barber and reminders is enough; if not, we rebuild it and keep the domain and Google rankings.
